Growing up glued to the side of her mother’s piano, Abby taught herself to sing by way of showtunes, jazz standards, Motown and The Beatles. Like any good child of the 80’s and 90’s, she also developed a healthy obsession with hair metal ballads and Whitney Houston’s Bodyguard soundtrack.
Feasting on a mix of musical genres in her youth gave Abby an appreciation for singing anything with a great melody. And that’s exactly what she does. From Etta James to Whitesnake, Abby’s powerhouse vocals and dynamic range transfer effortlessly from one genre to the next, turning any gig into an intimate concert.
